'Marvel' Maincrop Seed Potatoes
- When it comes to spuds, few varieties are quite so strong as 'Marvel' - it's like that kid at school who's annoyingly good at everything. From excellent flavour to strong yields, disease resistance to storing potential, this potato has got it all.
- One of the earlier maincrop cultivars, you'll be able to harvest your potatoes from as soon as late July. Generally smooth-skinned, this spud is as easy to peel as it is delicious to eat!
- A brilliant choice for baked potatoes, chips (both thick-cut and French fries) and roast potatoes, 'Marvel' potatoes are low-maintenance and easy to grow, providing you with a bountiful crop for only a relatively minimal input.
- Grow your potatoes in the open ground, traditional hessian potato sacks or containers at least 45cm wide and deep.
- A recipient of the RHS Award of Garden Merit, 'Marvel' potatoes have been recognised as performing particularly well in British gardens.
