- Tall, swaying stems with feathery foliage and clusters of small yellow flowers, dill looks as good as it tastes
- Perfect for livening up sauces, casseroles and soups. Use the seeds in baking or curries and the leaves in pickles and burger sauce

Water well in dry spells - after an initial watering when planted, it shouldn't be needed in autumn and winter

Plant in a sunny spot where the plants will receive 6-8 hours of sunlight per day.
Any fertile, well-drained soil
Herb plants prefer well drained, loamy soils. If your soil is heavy or sandy, mix in some perlite or fine horticultural grit when planting, to improve drainage.
