Plant in a sunny spot where the plants will receive 6-8 hours of sunlight per day.
Well-drained alkaline or neutral soil
Herb plants prefer well drained, loamy soils - alkaline to neutral is the best kind for lemon thyme. If your soil is heavy or sandy, mix in some perlite or fine horticultural grit when planting, to improve drainage.
