Beetroot Plants
- Beetroots are easy to grow and ideal for beginners, with their classic globe shape, smooth purple skin and rich, earthy flavour.
- Grate into salads, roast, pickle or make tarte tatin. You can even eat the leaves as salad leaves or cooked like spinach.
- Grow in raised beds, borders or deep pots and harvest when the beets are no larger than a golf ball for the best flavour.
- You will receive a strip of 24 healthy young plants, ready to grow on.
- Plant out after the first frosts and harvest from June to August.
- Premium plants grown by vegetable experts on a family run farm in Lancashire and sent to you at the best possible time for planting.
- Growing your own gives you healthy, fresh produce with a lower carbon plant-print than anything you can buy from a shop.
- Easy to grow and care for - simply remove your plants from their strip and pot them on individually until the last chance of frost has passed and they're ready to plant outside. You should see your first beetroots within 8-10 weeks.
