- Growing to 4m high and just 1m wide, it's ideal for small spaces or planting in rows.
- Spring is when the magic happens and every inch of those narrow, upswept branches is packed with fluffy, pink semi-double flowers with a delicate, sweet fragrance
- The fresh jade-green foliage transforms in autumn to a fiery display of bright reds and oranges before falling and revealing the elegant silhouette of the bare branches
- Amanogawa is pollution tolerant and happy in most soils, making it a great choice for urban areas and streetside planting

- 'Amanogawa' means 'river of the sky' in Japanese. The Amanogawa cherry blossoms originally grew along the banks of the Arakara River that flows through Saitama Province and Tokyo in Japan.
- Our mature trees are grown in Air-Pots®, the only type of pot to completely eliminate root circling. A unique design stimulates air pruning for a mass of healthy fibrous roots, which results in a healthy tree that will establish quickly in your garden. With each Air-Pot® made to last up to 20 years, we reuse them on the nursery and wrap your mature tree in hessian for delivery - but if you’d rather keep your tree potted, simply add an Air-Pot® to your basket along with your tree.

A little watering when new
When newly planted, your tree will need a little watering at least once a month for the initial couple of months. Afterwards keep moist but well drained.
Full sun
This cherry tree loves full sun exposure or a sheltered location, allowing all the nutrients to create blossom in your garden. Choosing a spot away from strong winds will help all the tree's resources to go towards growing and maintaining the blossom.
