- The small pack includes one Black Hamburgh and one Muscat Alexandria grape vine. Black Hamburgh is best known for the 230 year old specimen planted at Hampton Court by Lancelot 'Capability' Brown, which is still producing deep red, rich grapes. Muscat of Alexandria is an ancient African variety used by the ancient Egyptians in wine making and reputedly Cleopatra's favourite. The large pack contains both of these plus one Pinot noir and one Chardonnay grapevine. Pinot noir is the red wine lover's red wine grape (it's also lovely eaten fresh) while Chardonnay is the classic dry white wine variety, with sweet, golden yellow grapes. All of these can be eaten straight from the vine
