Excellent pest and disease resistance
Disease free. Can be affected by aphids - if this becomes a problem, spray with a mix of water, soap and vegetable oil or remove the aphids by hand.

Full sun to partial shade
Grows best in full sun but will be fine with some partial shade

Any moist soil
Any permanently moist or waterlogged soil - loam is ideal.

Prune annually
Cut back after flowering
