'El Greco' Courgette Plants
- RHS favourite ‘El Greco’ courgette crops prolifically from early summer right the way through until the first frosts, producing stunning glossy-green fruits. Plus, the plant’s open habit makes harvesting a doddle.
- The courgettes taste as good as they look, boasting fabulous flavour without any of the bitterness that courgettes sometimes possess. Your options are endless when it comes to using your crop; roast, add to ratatouille or spiralise for a healthy pasta alternative.
- You can even stuff the flowers with ricotta or mozzarella and fry them in batter for an Italian delicacy (called fiori di zucca fritti)!
- Suitable for growing in borders, veg plots and raised beds, your courgette plants have been lovingly grown under glass throughout winter and early spring, before being sent on to you as healthy young plants, ready to grow in the ground. You should see your first courgettes within six to eight weeks.
- A deserving recipient of the Royal Horticultural Society’s Award of Garden Merit, this cultivar has been shown to perform especially well in British gardens. Bosh.
