How To Grow

Excellent pest and disease resistance

Grafted vegetable plants have higher disease resistance. Pepper plants can suffer from red spider mites if grown in a greenhouse, as well as blossom end rot, which can be prevented by spacing your plants well apart. Aphids may be a problem - if you find them on your plant, spray it with a mixture of water, soap and vegetable oil.

Water regularly

Water well in hot, dry weather but take care not to overwater your plants.

Full sun

Pepper plants need 6-8 hours of direct sun every day. If not positioned in a greenhouse or inside space, place in a position sheltered from chilling winds such as a south-facing wall.

Any fertile, well-draining soil

Thrives in any well-drained, loamy soil.

Feed every 1-2 weeks

Feed regularly with a high potash liquid fertiliser once the first fruit has set.
