Description
- ‘Treneague’ is a non-flowering, low-growing perennial chamomile that’s perfect for creating a beautifully-fragranced lawn.
- With its soft, feathery foliage, chamomile makes a wildlife-friendly alternative to conventional grass lawns and has the benefit of not needing any mowing. Win-win.
- Grow your ‘Treneague’ plants in an open, sunny site and position your plants 10-20cm apart in order to get the best coverage.
- New chamomile lawns shouldn’t be walked on for at least 12 weeks. Even once your plants are well-established, it’s a good idea to keep foot traffic light. You can add a path or stepping stones if the area is walked on regularly.
- Your chamomile plants have been grown with the utmost care and attention at our South Downs nursery, before being sent to you as established young plants, ready for planting in your garden.

Herb plants prefer well drained, loamy soils. If your soil is heavy or sandy, mix in some perlite or fine horticultural grit when planting, to improve drainage.
