Ceanothus 'Puget Blue
The Highlights
- Covered in a profusion of rich deep blue flowers
- Also known as California Lilac
- RHS Award of Garden Merit winner
- Ideal to brighten up a border
- Extremely attractive to pollinators
- Please Note: Our climbers are pruned back each winter, and some during the summer, so you may find at certain times of year they do not cover the whole 90cm cane. This is intentional to ensure the best growth when you plant out

Care Guide
Excellent pest and disease resistance
Generally pest and disease free. Honey fungus and scale insects are possible. MORE
Keep moist and water during dry spells
Water frequently while the plant is getting established, and always keep moist.
Full Sun
Ceanothus appreciates Full sun and a sheltered spot. In more exposed gardens it will benefit from a position near a South or West facing wall to provide shelter.
Loam/Sand
Ceanothus loves a moist, well-drained loamy or sandy soil.
Annually
Ceanothus need little or no regular feeding in most garden soils. However to encourage strong new growth after pruning, plants can be fed annually in spring. Mulch at least 5cm (2in) thick, can be applied to the soil surface in late autumn to late winter (Nov-Feb).
