Description
- An explosion of pinkish white, heavily perfumed flowers throughout spring
- Pastel pink ovoid buds open out into wonderful blush pink/white flowers from March to May
- Gorgeous evergreen foliage helps provide colour and visual interest the whole year round, and can help screen unsightly surfaces
- A highly vigorous climber, you can should plant 'Hendersonii Rubra' in a sheltered, sunny spot and train up a trellis, wall, fence or arch. Alternatively, you can grow it in a large pot up an obelisk
- Bring the buzz to your garden - this clematis draws early pollinators, like bumblebees and butterflies, thanks to its enticing fragrance

How To Grow
Good pest and disease resistance
Might occasionally be affected by aphids; if you notice any, then they can be removed by wiping them off with a dampened cloth and spraying the affected area with a soapy water mix to prevent a recurrence. Mitigate clematis wilt by ensuring your plants have the correct balance of nutrients. Dig in a generous amount of compost when planting, and mulch around the plant in the autumn.
Keep Moist And Water During Dry Spells
Water frequently while the plant is getting established, and always keep moist.
Full sun to partial shade
Clematis vines like full sun, aiming for at least 6 hours of direct sunlight per day. Their roots and base, by contrast, prefer shady conditions to keep cool - use gravel, mulch, ground cover plants or a shade cloth to achieve this.
Any moist, well-drained soil
Clematis will grow well in any soil type providing it is moist and well drained. If your soil is heavy or clay-based, mix in some fine gravel or perlite when planting, to help with drainage.
Feed every spring
Feed at least once annually, and up to 2-3 times a year, with potassium rich fertiliser or rose feed to encourage better flower growth.

Specialist equipment ensures that no plants will be damaged during the packing process and every order is carefully finished and checked by plant-loving humans. Where do you deliver?
We deliver to anywhere in Mainland UK for our standard delivery cost. We are able to deliver most plants to Highlands and non UK mainland however this will be at an additional cost. This will be calculated at the checkout. Please note, deliveries to these locations will take longer. Unfortunately, we are not able to deliver to Northern Ireland at present.

Excellent delivery and service
Well, the delivery was spot on, the tree looks healthy enough for a sleeping plant, although at the moment most of the branches are on one side of the trunk which in itself is bent banana-style. quite wonky. One can only hope that it grows into a fruitful plant with some character?

Nice sized tree in good condition
Time will tell on the quality of the product (bare-root apple trees), but the stems that arrived seemed in great condition and very well packaged so no damage in transit. Looking forward to Spring!
