Care Guide

Excellent pest and disease resistance
Agapanthus is generally pest and disease free, but can be targeted by slugs and snails. To protect against them, surround your plant with a barrier such as copper wire, crushed shells or fine gravel.

Water regularly
Water regularly in the lead up to the flowering season

Full sun
Position where the plant will get 6-8 hours of sunlight daily

Any fertile, well-drained soil
Agapanthus prefers fertile, well-drained soil but will be fine in any normal well-drained soil. If your soil is particularly poor or clay heavy, add some garden compost with perlite to improve drainage.

Feed regularly
For best results, feed with a high potassium fertiliser every two weeks in summer https://cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0513/3428/3424/files/pruning_3x_4d3eaf73-f629-45e0-87a5-6f14f5f005fc.png?v=1613300718
